Q:

How does check in / check out work?

A:

You will be sent an email with an access code to enter your room or building: both at booking and the day before. Enter the code followed by a checkmark. This code will either get you directly into your room (Alabama, Delaware, California House), or into the house where your room is, in which case upon entering the house, you should proceed directly to your room.

Inside your room, you will find the information binder in a case on the wall near the door, and a hook with your keys on them. Keypad rooms do not need a key; you can simply use your code to enter and exit. All codes can access the front left door to enter the Victorian house, which contains the common areas.

There is no check-in at a front desk. However, we have staff to assist during business hours, and we host a 5pm social hour in the Victorian House each evening held by a staff member, which includes a complimentary glass of champagne. Please join us!

Press the checkmark on the keypad after entering your code. To lock it from the outside, simply push the button on the screen, or rub the screen.

Rooms will have signs with their names on them.

Q:

Where can I park?

A:

Unlike many locations in Gettysburg that require you to walk a long distance or pay for parking, we have convenient parking for each of our rooms located behind the property. Parking is reserved for those with room reservations only. From Baltimore St, you will turn onto Locust Ave, and then make your first right down the alley. The parking lots are on your right. The northernmost parking lot is for the Welty House, the other lot is for Brickhouse and California House.
