“Meet President Lincoln” Weekend

On February 25 & 26 we have our “Meet President Lincoln” Weekend. For a cost of only $50 per person plus lodging you can enjoy:

  • A meeting with historian Roy Frampton in the National Military Cemetery, where you will have a two-hour tour with him and receive a copy of his book (this is the cemetery where President Lincoln gave his celebrated Gettysburg Address).
  • A dinner at the Dobbin House Restaurant (3 minutes walk from the Inn) where you will be introduced to President Lincoln (portrayed by famous Lincoln re-enactor, James Getty). The President will move through the room during dinner, talking to guests and answering their question.
  • After dinner, President Lincoln will give a short presentation.
