The Friends of Gettysburg and The Gettysburg Foundation

The Friends of Gettysburg started as a small group of concerned citizens sharing common goals and a passion for preserving the national parks in Gettysburg. The organisation grew into the Gettysburg Foundation, which now has nearly 22,000 members and supporters. The Foundation operates the Visitor Center in conjunction with the National Park Service. It has an office in the historic Rupp House, which is directly opposite The Brickhouse Inn B&B in Baltimore Street.
